We Can’t tell you where, we can’t tell you when, but we can tell you this : Rukus Avenue will be putting on a private Diwali Party for the folks at NBC Universal on the 20th.  Since this is closed to the public, we can’t disclose any more details, but expect an all-out lineup of amazing music.  Rukus Avenue Chairman Sammy Chand reflected on the event by saying “We’re getting ready, its an absolute honor for us to be putting our music together for the folks at NBC Universal.  We’re pulling all the stops, this one will be special.”

Featuring the Rukus Avenue artists Elephants With Guns with a special guest appearance by Hoodini, the event will be hosted by Rasika Mathur, and will take place at an undisclosed location in Universal City.  The lineup will also feature bhangra band OCP, Dhol Nation, Sher Foundation, Shri Keshava of the Taal Dance Collective, and the Nasha Dance Group.

The event will mark a very special Diwali celebration, and who better than Rukus Avenue to put on a show in LA?  We’re very pleased to be sharing our culture with the folks at NBC – and we expect a great show.
